Lifecore Medical Sdn Bhd has been appointed by Al-Sultan Abdullah Foundation (YASA) to be the 'service provider' for all YASA's Hemodialysis Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment Preparation: ∙Set up and prepare dialysis machines and equipment before each patient's session.

Patient Assistance: ∙Assist patients in preparing for dialysis treatment, including positioning, and connecting them to the dialysis machine.

Documentation and Record-Keeping: ∙Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, treatment plans, and any changes in condition. ∙Document vital signs, dialysis parameters, and other relevant data as required.

∙Infection Control : Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure a sterile and safe dialysis environment. ∙Follow proper procedures for the handling and disposal of medical waste.

Collaboration with Healthcare Team: ∙Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. ∙Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.

Patient Education: ∙Educate patients on proper self-care techniques and dietary restrictions related to their kidney condition.

Continues Improvement ∙Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia). ∙Certification as a Dialysis Assistant or completion of a recognized dialysis training program. ∙Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a dialysis unit.
