HUMAN RESOURCE (HR) MANAGER

(based in Tanjung Malim, Perak)

Job Summary

Responsible for design, plan, and implement human resources programs for the automotive plant. You will need to administer corporate policies relating to compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
• Manage the recruitment and selection process
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Maintain pay plan and benefits program
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in HR management in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations and HR best practices
• Experience in recruitment and selection, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
• People oriented and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken). Proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage.

Salary RM10,000, to commensurate with experience.
