Jawatan Kosong MARINE PERSONNEL OFFICER PLANNER in Kemaman

To coordinate and perform the activities of the Crew Management section to ensure the smooth continuation of day to day operations and to provide general support to the companies business activities consistent with the job holders experience and qualifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To assist the Head of MPD in all aspect of Marine Personnel Department on crewing and matter

• To prepare the Crew Planning Schedule onboard vessel.

• To obtain approval from the Head of MPD in engaging new crew, training, safety and welfare of seamen and up date record into the IT system.

• To participate on pre-joining briefings to all newly engaged crew and existing crew.

• To arrange crew training and upgrading of officers competency certificate.

• To assist vessel victuals order.

• To prepare up to-date list of personnel servicing onboard and submit to Administration Department for insurance purposes.

• To assist Marine Personnel Manager and vessel owners on vessel operations.

• To liaise with charterer on marine personnel, and operations matters, and crew approval.

• To liaise with charterer, government agency, agents and port authorities.

• To assist JM's subsidiary and/or its affiliate matters.

• To attend meetings.

• To assist and provide transportation (flight / taxi / buses) during engagement of crew.

• Other duties as directed by COO, General Manager Operation and/or MPD Manager from time to time.

• Any Diploma or Degree in related discipline.

• Minimum 2-3 years relevant crewing experience, open for fresh graduates as well.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft office

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Previous seagoing experience would be advantageous

• Recruiting experience of the sea staff onboard especially from the offshore oil & gas sector

• Understanding of offshore vessel operations and the training needed for offshore vessel operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,680.00 per month
