Requirements :

• Bachelor's or higher in Environmental Engineering. Sustainability or related field.
• Well-versed with Environmental Laws and Acts with experience in ISO 14001 audits.
• Possesses competency in CePPOME or CePSWaM,are added advantages.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Job Description

• To develop and oversee the operation of environmental pollution control equipment and the management of scheduled wastes.
• To develop, implement, and maintain environmental management systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• To review ISO 14001 ( Environmental Management System) to ensure proper implementation of its activities. Participation in the identification of environmental aspects and impacts, development of objectives and targets and environmental programs, conducting internal audits and implementation of corrective and preventive action plans, etc.
• To coordinate and conduct environmental-related monitoring for effluent, air emission, storm water, ground water, boundary noise, etc.
• To prepare environmental monitoring reports for regulatory submission.
• To liaise with local authority / regulatory bodies ( DOE, auditor, etc) on matters pertaining to the environment.
• To liaise and coordinate with external parties for environmental testing ( water, air, and waste).
• To ensure compliance with legal and other requirements, keeping up to date with changes in the environmental legislation and other requirements.
• To conduct periodical training for employees on environmental-related topics.
• To perform any other duties as delegated by the superior from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
