Responsibilities:

• Assist in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical systems and plant machinery under the supervision of the Chargeman or Wireman.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist in electrical modification and improvement works as instructed.
• Support project and maintenance works to ensure completion within scheduled timelines.
• Assist in monitoring incoming power supply and voltage levels to ensure stable plant operations.
• Assist in maintenance of electrical installations including:

- 11kV High Tension (HT) Substation (under supervision)
- 415V Low Voltage (LV) Main Switch Board (MSB)
- Motor Control Centres (MCC)
- Control Panels
- Transformer Room

• Carry out three-phase and single-phase wiring works for plant machinery and building facilities.
• Assist in inspection and checking of electrical spare parts and materials.
• Support maintenance of motors, inverters and generator sets (gensets) across all plant operations.
• Maintain proper housekeeping of electrical rooms, substations and work areas.
• Comply strictly with company safety policies, electrical regulations and mining site safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM / Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in electrical maintenance (industrial experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
• Willing to work at mining site in Seri Bandi, Kemaman.
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial environment.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
