Jawatan Kosong ASSISTANT MANAGER - TENDER AND CONTRACT in Nilai

As the ASSISTANT MANAGER – TENDER AND CONTRACT you would be responsible to:

  • Responsible for pre to post-contract works.
  • Experience in dealing with government project.
  • Prepare and monitor in cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Prepare and monitor tender documents and review bids received from contractors.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data on project costs, such as material, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Good knowledge in taking off, costing, progress claim, tender preparation, projected cash flow, evaluation of claims & finalization of final account.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports for the project team and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the management of project budgets, including monitoring and reporting on actual costs against budget.
  • Participate in meetings with the project team and stakeholders to discuss cost-related issues and provide input on cost-saving measures
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project costs are properly managed and controlled
  • Conduct verification of material requisition and taking-off quantities to effective and efficient project management.
  • Monitor administration of the various contracts and sub-contract works including preparation of progress reports, the recommendation of payments, variation order certificates and final accounts documentation.
  • Monitor and analyse the Final account by comparing the contract drawing against the construction drawings.
  • To plan and organize assigned tasks without compromising the accuracy of taking-off within a required time frame.
  • To check the draft tender documents and assist the project team in providing feedback on contractual matters.
  • Attending consultant request and comment.

Our requirements are:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years working experience in Tender & Contract or Quantity Surveying field.
  • Willing to travel for negotiation/ operational meetings with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a business, establish and maintain effective relationships with customers (internal & external).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, outgoing personality and have strong influence and impetus.
  • Team player with experience in managing and working with internal and cross-functional team members to inspire team confidence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
