• Jiwa Kopi & Bingsu Kemaman, Terengganu

BARISTA

1. Preparation of Beverages & Light Food

• Prepare coffee-based drinks such as espresso, latte, cappuccino, americano, etc., according to SOP.

2. Operation of Machines & Equipment

• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and correctly.
• Perform daily/weekly cleaning and basic maintenance of coffee machines and tools.

3. Customer Service

• Provide friendly, professional service to all customers.
• Accurately take orders, respond to menu-related inquiries, and make product recommendations.
• Prepare and serve orders in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation standards.

4. Cleanliness & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation (bar counter, equipment, tools, and surroundings).
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Ensure ingredients and materials are properly stored and kept clean.

5. Stock & Inventory Support

• Monitor daily usage of ingredients such as milk, coffee beans, syrups, etc.
• Notify the supervisor if stock levels are low or if any item is spoiled/damaged.
• Arrange supplies using the First In First Out (FIFO) method.

6. Records & Reporting

• Record the number of drinks sold (if assigned).
• Report customer complaints or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.

7. Teamwork & Support

• Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth café operations.
• Assist in other sections if needed, such as cashiering or food running.
• Prepare non-coffee drinks such as tea, hot chocolate, smoothies, and iced beverages.
• Handle preparation of light food or ready-to-serve items like pastries or toast (if applicable).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
