Peranan Jawatan

Kami sedang mencari seorang profesional berpengalaman dalam bidang landskap dan hortikultur untuk menyelia penyelenggaraan Tapak Perkuburan Perang Taiping. Peranan ini melibatkan pengurusan operasi harian penyelenggaraan tapak, peralatan dan pekerja, serta memastikan semua kerja mematuhi piawaian Suruhanjaya Kubur Perang Komanwel (CWGC).

Tanggungjawab Utama

• Menyelia kerja penyelenggaraan landskap termasuk tanah perkuburan, tugu peringatan, pokok dan peralatan.
• Menyusun jadual kerja, menyelia pasukan atau kontraktor, dan memastikan kecekapan operasi.
• Memberi latihan serta memastikan pematuhan kepada garis panduan keselamatan dan kesihatan.
• Melaporkan sebarang kerosakan, vandalisme, kecurian atau isu struktur di tapak yang ditugaskan.

Kelayakan & Kemahiran

• Sekurang-kurangnya 3 tahun pengalaman dalam bidang landskap atau penyelenggaraan tanah serta pengendalian jentera berkaitan.
• Pengalaman menyelia atau membimbing pasukan kerja.
• Keupayaan komunikasi yang baik dalam Bahasa Melayu dan Bahasa Inggeris (bertulis dan lisan).
• Mahir menggunakan komputer.
• Mempunyai tahap kecergasan fizikal yang baik.
• Pemegang pasport yang sah dan mempunyai hak sah untuk bekerja di Malaysia.

About this Role and You:

Are you passionate about horticulture or landscaping and eager to share your knowledge with others? Join us in our mission to honor fallen Commonwealth service members and ensure they will never be forgotten, while applying your horticultural expertise in one of the most culturally significant sites across the Pacific.

As Site Landscape Supervisor, you will support the Country Manager in the execution and co-ordination of the ground’s maintenance, equipment upkeep, and worker supervision for the Taiping War Cemetery

You will draw upon your experience and knowledge to lead by example and supervise assigned staff or contractors, ensuring they efficiently, safely, and economically maintain the cemetery and memorials to the standards specified by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC).

What You'll Do:

• Maintenance & Upkeep: Regularly maintain and repair CWGC property, including cemetery grounds, memorials, trees, facilities, and equipment.
• Supervision: Organise, plan, and supervise all upkeep and maintenance work of assigned workers.
  Training & Safety: Ensure workers are trained on equipment use and promote compliance with CWGC health and safety practices for self and others.
• Reporting: Report damages, vandalism, theft, structural defects, or other changes observed within or in the vicinity of assigned cemeteries and memorials.

What We're Looking For:

• A passionate landscaper or grounds keeper at least 3 years of relevant experience operating landscape machinery through landscaping or groundskeeping operations
• Strong leader with effective communication skills and experience in supervising or mentoring others
• High level of literacy in native language. Fluency in English, both written and spoken is desirable.
• Good computer skills
• A good general level of physical fitness.
• Legal right to work in Malaysia is essential and a valid passport is desirable
