Jawatan Kosong Fashion Designer in Taiping

Job Description:

1. Perform as fashion designer for the apparel goods which able to catch the latest trend of malay fashion as well as casual wear for ladies & men.

2. Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives.

3. Update with emerging fashion trends and general trends related to fabrics, colours and shapes.

4. Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock

5. Searching, selecting, ordering, and purchasing fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments.

6. Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.

7. Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately

8. Handling in administrative tasks included book record and document filing.

9. Evaluate the latest fashion trends, buying patterns, and demographics of our target market.

10. Create appealing visual displays that suit our target market, budget, and the latest trends.

11. Create a monthly visual merchandise strategy and budget for multiple locations.

12. Purchase the necessary apparel, accessories, and footwear to complete designs.

13. Collaborate with fashion designers, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate contracts and finalize deadlines.

14. Work closely with the marketing department to discuss advertising requirements and campaigns.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in merchandising and/or fashion design.

2. Proven experience as a fashion merchandiser or visual merchandiser.

3. Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.

4. Strong knowledge of the latest fashion trends and developments.

5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to create original and eye-catching designs that appeal to our target market.

7. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

8. Plan, source, and oversee the implementation of store layouts.

9. Understanding of visual elements (layout, type, and fonts)

10. Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping)

11. Able to travel to overseas for merchandise and material sourcing purpose.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
