General Job Requirements:

General expectations for the Electrical Charge man are:

• Understand and Experience for legal requirement.
• Has a thorough understanding of the plant operation.
• Exhibits an attitude that maintains a motivating work climate and uphold confidentiality.
• Computer literate.

Role and Responsibilities:

The person shall carry out duties, not limited to:

• To perform, lead and supervise preventive and predictive maintenance, trouble shooting and corrective maintenance, work order scheduling, planning, system operation and inspection, conducting economic analysis and improvement especially in the power plant section
• To maintain, install and trouble-shoot of electrical systems, air-condition system, fire system, building, plant, machinery and equipment in the plant area
• Ensure new installations and maintenance is safe, correct and legal
• Ensure incident free work environment in compliance with EHS requirements
• To ensure building electrical, equipment and power plants is maintained effectively and comply with Energy Commission requirement
• To ensure that substation equipment installations is executed in such a manner that meets the quality specified as well as safety and health requirements
• Able to make switching process and procedure include synchronize work for HV genset and power plant according to regulation
• To ensure that installations comply with latest Energy Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga)
• Inspection & reporting for Medium/ High Voltage equipment.
• To review, revise and provide electrical safety procedure and SOP for maintenance and construction.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Educational:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate minimum B4

Computer Skills:

• The Electrical Charge man should be able to demonstrate general knowledge of PCs and common related software i.e. Ms Office
