Jawatan Kosong Western Chef in Kemaman

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and machinery to ensure smooth plant operations and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Manage and monitor daily work progress, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in accordance with operational standards.
• Plan, request, and order electrical components and spare parts required for maintenance and project activities.
• Coordinate and supervise manpower, assigning tasks and ensuring effective utilization of resources.
• Work proactively to meet project deadlines, ensuring timely execution of electrical works.
• Minimize equipment downtime through preventive maintenance and prompt corrective actions.
• Control and optimize maintenance costs by identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety and performance.
• Modify and upgrade electrical components or systems according to operational needs and engineering guidelines.
• Inspect and verify availability of electrical spare parts, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Assist in managing new projects, including electrical installation, commissioning, and documentation.
• Monitor and control incoming TNB voltage supply for all plants to ensure stable and safe operations.
• Manage and maintain HT 11kV substations, LV MSB 415V systems, MCC panels, control panels, and transformer rooms.
• Oversee and perform wiring works for both 3-phase and single-phase installations across plant and building facilities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping within electrical rooms, substations, and work areas.
• Enforce compliance with safety rules and regulations, ensuring all electrical work adheres to statutory and company requirements.
• Manage motors, inverters, and gensets for all four plants, including troubleshooting, servicing, and performance monitoring.

Requirements:

• Possess a Valid Chargeman Certificate (e.g., AO/A1/A4/A7 – specify as needed).
• Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial, mining, or quarrying environment.
• Strong knowledge of HT (11kV) and LV (415V) electrical systems, transformers, MCC panels, and control systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting motors, inverters, generators, and industrial electrical components.
• Familiar with TNB requirements, electrical safety regulations, and local statutory compliance.
• Physically fit and able to work in mining/quarry site conditions, including dusty or outdoor environments.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
