Position Summary — Finance Controller
As a key member of our financial leadership team, the Finance Controller will oversee financial planning, reporting, controls, and strategic decision support. ● Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly performance reviews, variance reports, and ad-hoc financial analyses to support business decisions.
● Cost Control: Optimize cost structures by identifying savings opportunities, implementing efficiency strategies, and monitoring expenditures.
● Risk Management: Assess financial risks, design mitigation policies, and ensure robust internal controls.
● Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate financial policies.
● Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices to enhance financial operations.
● Business Partnership: Provide data-driven insights to executives, supporting strategic planning and execution.
Required Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
● 10+ years of financial management experience, preferably including CPA firm exposure.
● Strong analytical skills with a track record of translating strategic vision into operational models.
● Excellent communication in written and verbal, With strong judgment and decision-making skills, interpersonal communication and coordination skills, planning and execution skills.
● Proven leadership in financial reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration.
● Language Skills : English, Malay, Mandarin.
● Meticulous and rigorous work, and strategic forward-looking thinking, good expression skills and team spirit.
