Once the commercial operation commences by the end of 2024, the Kulim production site will focus on ABF substrate solutions for the semicon industry. Currently, we are seeking an experienced candidate to fill this newly created position:

Waste Water Treatment Technician (WWT)

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient usage of existing facilities.
• Ensure the discharge requirements of the production and guarantee the waste water discharging in standards.
• To create a qualified 6S working environment.
• To monitor sub- contractors’ activity during construction period, including move-in, installation and commissioning.
• Improve personal accomplishment and professional quality, and cooperate with the team leader to build a harmonious team.
• Monitor WWT and BWWT on SCADA.
• Makeup waste water related dry chemicals.
• Carry out chemical quick tests for waste water control.
• Taking samples for analysis by laboratory.
• Strict supervision of the operation of the system, to do a good job of system operating parameters records.
• Active of the daily preventive maintenance and equipment cleaning.
• When an abnormal situation occurs, immediately notify the foreman, and actively cooperate with the foreman in response to the ORP emergency procedures.

Your Profile

• Diploma or Certificates in related field.
• 2 years experience in Waste Water Treatment (WWT).
• Basic English Communication skills.
• Good computer skills - process control system.
• Ability to operate operation independently.
