Jawatan Kosong Logistics Leader in Simpang Ampat

Responsible to lead, plan, manage and own the performance of Logistics/Shipping workforce on all the activities and diligent execution of 3PL Logistics tasks effectively and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expedition team for picking & packing (VMI) activities movement.
• Responsible for the planning and controlling of over all activities in the logistics area.
• Planning and preparation material follow by pull plan order request.
• Manage & conducted Warehouse and Inventory to avoid any missed part delivery.
• Conducted daily warehouse meeting with suboninates for material availability planning & preparation.
• Manage SAP system or related with Warehouse system (WMS).
• To handle and taking care of Logistics equipment and tools.
• Driving and handling forklift, Reach truck, manual hand jack and power pallet truck.
• To ensure that team make a daily housekeeping at working area.
• Involve in daily cycle count and inventory counting for Material storage in Logistics.
• To implement and streamline the store operation to achieve cost reduction and increase.
• Productivity, efficient and effective store services.
• To ensure subordinates adhere and compliance to ISO14001 and safety material handling procedures and policies.
• Adhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies and general duty of care.
• Any other duties assigned by superior from time to time and reporting output of task daily activities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT：

• Location: alternate work locations of external logistics (Bayan Lepas or Penang Science Park, Simpang Ampat.
• Works in fast paced warehouse / logistics environment.
• Completes many tasks that may be repetitive in motion.
• Heavy lifting may be required.
• Work in day and night shift based on shift assigned.
• Overtime may be necessary in times of increased demand.
• Works under limited supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in fast-paced warehouse environment and able to work as a team.
• Knowledge in WMS, SAP and Microsoft office (especially excel).
• Knowledge in 5S related activities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literate and math skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in the supply chain (warehouse/logistics), or related field.

EDUCATION:

Essential :

• High school diploma level or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
