The Manufacturing Bakery Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the maintenance operations of a bakery production facility. This role involves developing and implementing maintenance strategies, managing a maintenance team, ensuring equipment reliability, and complying with food safety and quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) program: Create and execute a proactive maintenance schedule to minimize equipment breakdowns and optimize production efficiency.
To manage maintenance team: Recruit, train, and lead a skilled maintenance team to effectively address equipment issues and repairs.
To oversee maintenance activities: Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols

Budget management: To develop and manage the maintenance budget, including cost control and resource allocation.
Equipment reliability: To monitor equipment performance and implement strategies to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Spare parts inventory: To manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and optimize costs.
Continuous improvement: To Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Vendor management: To manage relationships with external maintenance service providers and contractors.
Reporting: To prepare and analyze maintenance reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and cost analysis.
REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years working experience as a Maintenance Manager
Proven 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
Proficiency in maintenance management software and systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
