Jawatan Kosong Site Manager Mining, Quarry in Dungun

Job Description

• Leading, developing and inspiring the Bukit Besi team to deliver expected results.
• Overseeing daily business operations for Bukit Besi Mine, Mengapur Mine and/or other future mines (if any).
• Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports based on past baseline data and subsequently drive the production teams towards achieving such goals.
• Setting mine’s KPIs based on the corporate key KPIs.
• Review existing Mine's organizational chart including hiring key and competent staffs in creating minimum competent teams.
• Review existing operational strategy, maintenance strategy, business strategy, if any and provide necessary advice to the company management; and subsequently implement such strategies;
• Advice to Management on all mining related matters;
• Analyses production data and reports and investigates cause of delays and deviations and ensures mitigating plans are prepared and implemented;
• Develop strategies and action plans based on objectives. Develops an achievement and execution plan considering the operational site requirements;
• Ensure effective management of costs;
• Setting up of clear objectives and goals for the mining team to achieve targeted production levels;
• Utilization of existing production capacity;
• Be the driving force behind excellence and productivity;
• To work with external consultants, if any, for development of mining assets;
• To work with external consultants, if any, for training and development of mine operation staffs;
• Any other work as assigned from time to time by the superior.

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Mining/Civil Engineering or any equivalent qualification with 5 to 7 years’ experience in Mining /Civil works. Candidates without qualification but have sufficient experience in the same position and industry are encouraged to apply.

2. Good leadership quality and planning skills, project management, cost control and quality management.

3. Good interpersonal skills and ability to lead and motivate site personnel.

4. Knowledge in legal and other requirements in the mining industry and good environmental, safety and health practices.

5. Computer literate and familiar with MS Office Application Software.
