REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing System Engineering.
• Preferably with at least 7 years of working experience in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent. For those with Diploma certificate, must possess more than 12 years’ experience in relevant field
• Self-discipline, good supervisory and good teamwork spirit.
• Required languages: Malay, English, Mandarin
• Required skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills, Time Management, Lean Manufacturing concepts, leadership skills, Shop Floor Management Skill, Tooling Management, Kanban System, Kaizen, Good Written and Oral Communication skills, PowerPoint, Excel & Microsoft Word.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication work field, having knowledge of laser technology, turret punching, bending, machining, stamping, fastener insertion, welding, wet painting & powder coatings will be advantageous added.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Direct reporting to Manufacturing Manager.
• Having capability to manage and monitor each production section' performance to meet quality, optimum cost, delivery (QCD: and responsiveness requirements.
• Require to monitor KPI's of Section Heads and Supervisors and provide coaching to them when necessary for improvement.
• Assist Manufacturing Manager in strategies and improve operational systems, processes, procedures, operation team setup & development and policies to better management reporting, information & process flow, as well as organizational planning & execution to meet organization needs. Any deviations observed must be corrected immediately.
• Daily meeting with MPS (Master Production Schedule: team, lead Section Heads and Supervisors to execute production daily plan schedule to meet shipment plan. Require to analyze on downtime and work on for improvements.
• Assist Manufacturing Manager in overseeing overall production Line Balancing, planning (resource and capacity :, system and control with also ensure productivity, yield, and efficiency meet as per target planned, and prevent from unnecessary overtime arrangement, 4M 1E are fully utilization.
• Take accountability for setting up departmental KPI such as 100% compliance on PPE, 100% compliance on quality standards and meet manufacturing Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE: or Overall Labour Efficiency (OLE:.
• Ensure operation of Production teams comply with departmental & company policies (EHS, QMS :, objectives and SOPs.
• Taking accountability in review annual training needs for subordinates/supervisors and submit TNA to HR for training planning. With also, conduct training effectiveness evaluation timely for subordinates who attended training course.
• Always require to determine short-term and long-term contingency plan and risk assessment to manage and avoid from production disruptions.
• Require to guide & monitor section heads and supervisors to execute and involve in process/sectional improvement, cost savings activities, quality, improvement, and waste reduction.
• Assist Manufacturing Manager in leading Sections Head and Supervisor in strategize manufacturing operation to maximize and productive use of manpower, process, and equipment. Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production process.
• Carry any other tasks assigned by Production Manager.
