Requirements:
Must have experience working in a farm, in vegetable processing or a commercial kitchen (hotel, restaurant or other)
Be proficient in written and spoken English
Competent in spoken Malay
Mandarin is a bonus
Competent with Excel and other Office applications
Driver’s license and have your own car or motorbike.
Excellent communication skills
Minimum education: Year 13. Diploma, university education is a bonus.
Have a happy, can-do attitude, and be a willing team player.
Job scope:
Two days per week only, Tues and Thurs.
Travel to different farms across Cameron Highlands and discuss crop health and production with farmers.
Seeding, when required
Helping to harvest and pack, when requested
Recording seed stocks
Check harvests and packing according to SOP’s
Assist with communications and logistics
Sourcing of materials and produce when requested
Drive small volumes of produce to different locations when requested.
Based in Cameron Highlands. Applicants living in Cameron Highlands will be prioritised. We will not pay for accommodation.
This is a freelance position. We can consider a permanent position with EPF, EIS and Sokso after a trial period.
