Responsibilities:

• Responsible and accountable for managing the day-to-day field operations including infrastructure maintenance, upkeep and development of the overall farm and orchard operation;
• Manage and supervise farm and orchard operations / activities such as fruit planting, manuring, pruning, machine operation, poison storage and daily maintenance work;
• Able to co-ordinate and supervise work programmes and workers effectively;
• To ensure daily operations run smoothly by complying with Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Agricultural Practices;
• Identify areas for system and process improvements, and implement changes to improve overall efficiency and cost savings for the operation;
• Proactive in identifying and rectifying any issues that may arise;
• Plan and implement efficient work schedules to achieve goals and targets set by Management, able to adapt plans due to unforeseen circumstances;
• Prepare monthly progress reports, forecast and yearly budget and communicate with the management throughout the year, including ad-hoc updates during site visits;
• Provide positive leadership to all stakeholders; and
• Support any ad-hoc assignments / projects pertaining to operations.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Plantation or equivalent
• At least 6 years’ experience in plantation field (oil palm)
• Good sense of business acumen
• Able to evaluate the projects or assignments. Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Successful candidate will be based at Bintulu, Sarawak

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
