Jawatan Kosong Production Supervisor in Perai

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and contribute to our strategic growth.

Job Summary:

To supervise and control production operation to run effectively and efficiently. To ensure adherence to production plan requirement, machine preparation for startup & set up, materials, output and timeline as well as process & product specification compliance. Areas of responsibility are production control, output & resources planning, quality, cost, materials and safety.

Key Accountabilities

1. Supervision of production plan and requirement

• To execute and supervise production operation’s plan to ensure smooth start up, high productivity, high efficiency and good quality.
• To list down job requirement and arrange job preparation for shut down activities.
• Plan and supervise machine preparation for product change, such as former mounting, former cleaning, loading change and tank cleaning.
• To communicate and synchronize production plan with compounding, dipping and packing to meet order delivery. This include provide priority to specific product or size to meet shipment requirement and timeline.
• To control machine, materials, manpower, gas, electricity, water, OT and equipment to use in efficient manner.

2. Build quality in product, process and work method.

• To set up and supervise specific product base on best process parameters setting, while apply learning and experience appropriately.
• If problem arise, lead and supervise problem solving via plan, do, check & act cycle continuously. Collect samples, record and verify results.
• To collectively learn and record best process parameters and confirm this again in machine set up.
• To supervise and cultivate best practices and modernize work method.
• To always adapt and adopt latest manufacturing tools and technique at work. Tools to deploy are Lean, 5S, Kaizen and Total Productive Maintenance and Total Quality Management.

3. Supervise WIP dipped gloves Inventory

• To follow through and control WIP production at backend process base on FIFO system.
• To supervise and expediting backend process of WIP dipped gloves.
• To expediting movement of WIP dipped gloves, and control low inventory.

4. To supervise EHS compliance and low hazard workplace

• To supervise workplace compliance to environment, health & safety regulation and PPE adherence.
• To train workers on safety aspects and awareness.
• To control and minimize health and hazard exposure of work environment.

5. Maintenance Support

• To issue maintenance service request (MSR) and follow up status until job completed.
• To support maintenance team if necessary, such as share the feedback and provide manpower.
• To do basic trouble shooting on machine if downtime occurred.

6. To synchronize Production Operation Calendar with public holiday and PM

• To supervise and control worker duty roster, to move off day back to back with public holiday to avoid frequent shut down & startup of machine.
• To track and relief workers for annual leave to utilize leave fully.
• To arrange a replacement for any on-duty operator who is absent or on medical leave.

7. To adhere to process and quality control plan

• To adhere to process control plan
• To test the process materials, inspect product quality and dimension.
• To stabilize process parameters and quality.

8. Support departmental goals and KPIs

• To supervise and support departmental goals and KPI.
• To supervise tasks and lead small projects.

9. Training and development

• To brief and train operators and line leaders.
• To fill up training checklist of employees.
• To engage employee involvement and training.
• To be part of transformation for 5S, Nastah values and happy workplace.

Other Responsibilities

1. To supervise 5S practices

• To take care of 5S and pic of work area.
• To implement and improve.

2. To perform stock take

• To perform monthly and annual stock take

3. Daily Production Report

• To prepare daily production report.

Requirements

1. Diploma/ SPM holder.

2. 3 years supervision experience.
