o Good knowledge in handling guest requests. Good knowledge of Housekeeping operations.
o To follows instructions given by supervisor on daily basis.
o Responsible for all calls coming to the Desk and to convey the right message to the right person.
o Maintaining records related to day to day operations of Housekeeping.
o Follow up with concerned departments in case of guest requests/ complaints.
o Follow up email and open manual purchase order.
o Good understanding of the property management soft wares ( Eg: Opera)
o Should have a good telephone etiquette.
o Make the relevant room status changes on the software as per the instruction given by floor supervisors.
o Coordinate with Engineering / Maintenance department for room maintenance issues.
o Co-ordinate with Front office department.
o Should have complete information related all the rooms in hotel.
o Give proper handover to the next shift and mention all responsibilities in detail to next shift staff before leaving.
o To issue linen and uniform and keeps records.
o Reports to supervisor any faults and defects requiring maintenance.
