• Survey Assistance:
• Assist the surveyor in conducting field surveys and measurements.
• Carry and set up survey equipment, such as total stations, levels, and tripods.
• Hold the survey chain, rods, or tapes as directed by the surveyor to take measurements accurately.
• Setting Out:
• Help in setting out points and markers for road alignments, boundaries, and construction work.
• Place stakes or other markers at designated points on the ground as per the surveyor’s instructions.
• Data Collection:
• Record and document field data such as measurements, distances, and angles under the surveyor’s guidance.
• Ensure that all records and measurements are accurate and properly logged.
• Equipment Handling and Maintenance:
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of surveying tools and equipment to and from the worksite.
• Clean and maintain the equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Safety and Coordination:
• Ensure that the worksite is safe for all team members and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate with the surveyor and other team members to ensure smooth operations during fieldwork.
• Map and Plan Interpretation:
