I. DAILY TASK

The primary responsibility of a TCGM Technician is to perform daily routine work like cylinder/drums/IBC change and receiving, round and readings, for liquid bulk, specialty gas and chemicals delivery equipment such as gas cabinets, chemical dispense module, purifiers, bulk tanks, analyzers, valve manifold boxes and chemical manifold boxes. Understand how the equipment works, identify individual components included in each assembly and perform basic periodic maintenance and monitor sufficient gas inventories and report out any abnormalities. TCGM Technician is responsible in day-to-day shift operation with minimum supervision and work with superior in any plan set up for the shift.

II. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and operate liquid bulk, specialty gas and chemical delivery equipment.
• Perform advanced gas and chemical troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment.
• Perform daily rounds including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas & chemical systems and gas cylinder & chemical drums/IBCs change-outs.
• Verify that daily rounds are recorded. Determine corrective action to be taken in the event of abnormal parameters and ensure that corrective action is completed.
• Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site.
• Perform bulk gas and tube trailer offload.
• Oversee the installation, facilitation, and start-up of all high purity gas delivery equipment.
• Ensure that an accurate and complete gas & chemical inventory is maintained. Evaluate trends in monthly gas & chemical usage.
• Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyser calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirements.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of gas & chemical -related manufacturing problems.
• Act as Emergency Response Team member/leader
• Act as primary customer shift interface
• Restart all high purity gas delivery equipment.
• Participate in customer and Kinetics System Malaysia programs including, but not limited to: Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance
• Develop and maintain applicable site-specific work instructions.
• Generate site-specific reports and consolidate data as requested by Management.
• Complete assigned tasks per existing procedures
• Perform minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures.
• Accountable for the safety of all persons and surrounding facilities.
• Any other task assigned by Management.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

• Posses’ minimum a Certificate/Diploma in Engineering/Others.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the TCGM Technician also demonstrate the following personal attributes.

Working hours: Shift Pattern (Day & Night)

One (1) day rest in every 7 days. Not exceed 60 hours per week including Over Time.

Entitle for OT Rate 1.5 (Normal Working Day & Off Day)/ 2.0 (Public Holiday & Rest Day) / 3.0 (Rest Day on PH)

Contribution of EPF, Socso & EIS. Annual Leave, Sick Leaves and Other Special Leaves under company.

SALARY RANGE IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE.
