JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION : SUPERVISOR/ ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR, OPERATIONS
JOB GRADE REPORT TO
: OP2/ OP3
: SENIOR OFFICER/ OFFICER, OPERATIONS
I. To ensure smooth warehouse operations with activities include receiving, storing, picking as well as shipping/loading.
2. To arrange and maintain good housekeeping at operations floor and storage areas.
3. To assist his/her superior on monitoring and update the staff attendance daily.
4. To supervise all powered mobile equipment (PME) are well checked on daily basis.
5. To guide the operations team to adhere to any related policy and ISO Standard imposed by the Management.
6. To lead teamwork spirit towards achieving department objectives.
7. To assist his/her superior to arrange staff briefing/meeting (weekly/monthly) on operations update or any news release from Management for awareness.
8. To update information or data into specific reports for reporting purposes.
9. To guide and train any new hired staff (material handler) on daily job tasks, working instruction and processes to ensure they are familiarized with the operations requirement.
10. To assist his/her superior to conduct any kind of assessments requested by the customer or organized by the Management.
11. To build a good relationship with haulers/truckers during operations activities.
12. To assist his/her superior to ensure all shipment deliveries are uplifted according to the schedules and vessels closing date.
13. To assist his/her superior to investigate and provide findings with evidence on any customer complaints.
14. To assist his/her superior to investigate any incident/accident happen in the warehouse.
15. To assist his/her superior to arrange headcounts for daily/weekly/monthly Cycle Count or Physical Inventory Stock Take as per customer's requirement.
16. To monitor the usage of packaging materials and raise order requests through his/her superior to raise Purchase Request accordingly.
17. Able to operate Forklift, Reach Truck and Pallet Truck

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
