Jawatan Kosong Safety & Health Supervisor Based in Kuala Penyu, Sabah in Kuala Penyu

• Candidate MUST be willing to base at project site office in Kuala Penyu
• Possess valid Yellow book (SHO)

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and review EHS policy, systems and practices, make improvement recommendations and implement new policies and procedures as required in line with corporate requirements;
• Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with project leadership to create consistency in safety standards throughout the production team and the entire company;
• Conduct inspections/audits for potential safety hazards and area of improvement, as well as safety inspection to assess employee compliance with safety regulations;
• Assist to conduct safety inductions/trainings to employees and workers;
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions;
• Provides project management team with guidance on health and safety and confirm project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations;
• Maintaining liaison with relevant authorities and interested parties related to EHS.

Job Requirement

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Science / Engineering (Environmental / Health / Safety) or in any related disciplines;
• Hold Yellow Book (SHO) for at least 2 years;
• Experience in Construction (High rise) industry;
• Well-versed and compliant with EHS laws;
• Able to communicate with government authorities;
• Able to work in a stressful and fast paced environment and have sense of urgency to respond to all relevant parties within stipulated timeline.

Working Hour:

Monday-Friday : 8.00am-5.00pm

Saturday : 8.00am-2.00pm

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
