Jawatan Kosong Construction General Worker - Kuala Penyu, Sabah in Kuala Penyu

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Preparation:
• Assist in setting up construction sites by cleaning and preparing areas.
• Load and unload construction materials and equipment.
• Assist with the installation of scaffolding, temporary structures, and site fencing.
• Support Skilled Workers:
• Work under the supervision of skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, masons) and assist them in their tasks.
• Mix and pour concrete, carry building materials, and use basic tools to cut or assemble materials.
• General Labor Tasks:
• Perform manual labor, such as digging trenches, leveling ground, and breaking up surfaces.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
• Assist in assembling and dismantling temporary structures, including scaffolding and barricades.
• Maintenance & Safety:
• Maintain cleanliness of the construction site by removing debris and waste materials.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Assist with site clean-up and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.

Requirements:

• Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in varying weather conditions.
• Experience: Prior experience in construction or as a general worker is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Education: No formal educational qualifications are required, but the ability to follow instructions and communicate in basic Malay or English is beneficial.
• Safety-Conscious: Must understand and adhere to all safety regulations.

Working Conditions:

• Work is outdoors and can be in various weather conditions (rain, heat, etc.).
• May require overtime or weekend shifts depending on project deadlines.
