Responsibilities:

• Lead security operations at Port Dickson Refinery & Terminal, including conducting monthly and yearly reviews of security KPIs and contractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Government acts and regulations (Majlis Keselamatan Negara, ISPS).
• Ensure strict adherence to security procedures by all personnel and communicate these procedures to employees and contractors.
• Develop and execute security plans and programs, conduct e-Vetting for employees and contractors, and issue security passes and manage visitor arrangements.
• Detect and report fraud or unlawful acts, and monitor, identify, and report security issues during patrols.
• Manage emergency contacts and control traffic during emergencies, assisting in clearing areas for emergency vehicles and personnel.
• Maintain security control of people, equipment, materials, and products entering/leaving the refinery, and enforce security regulations as needed.
• Provide training for Security Guards on security management systems and processes.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Security or Personnel Management.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a security environment (Security Officer, Military, Police).
• Good knowledge of security principles and practices, especially plant safety and security.
• Ability to identify hazardous conditions and security violations.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective working relationships with contractors, staff, and the public.
• Leadership qualities and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with government regulations related to security (CGSO, MKN, Marine Dept).
• Understanding of emergency response procedures and traffic control during emergencies.
