About the role
Assist with Pastry Kitchen on guest orders and banquet event orders in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

What you will do

• O perate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.
• Able to making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
• P repare pastry items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards;
• Complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.

What you bring

• Knowledge of pastry techniques, including dough preparation, cake decoration, and dessert presentation.
• Ability to work well in a team, follow instructions, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines, especially during busy service periods.
• Creative flair for dessert presentation and decoration.
A genuine passion for baking and pastry creation, with a desire to continually improve and innovate in the field.
