Job Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for managing the company’s full set or partial accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities / Job Scope

• Handle daily accounting operations
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare payments
• Process supplier payments, staff claims, petty cash, and payment vouchers.
• Invoice and billing
• Prepare customer invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Follow up on outstanding payments.
• Bank reconciliation
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and verify transactions.
• Financial reporting
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Budget and expense monitoring
• Monitor expenses and ensure costs are within approved budget.
• Audit and tax support
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for auditors, tax agents, and company secretary.
• Statutory compliance
• Ensure timely submission of Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDN), and SST-related documents if required.
• Documentation and filing
• Maintain proper accounting records, invoices, and financial documents.
• Other duties
• Perform any ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, UBS, etc.)

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
