About the role:
As a Finance and Accountant Executive, you will play a key role in managing the company’s finances and supporting decision-making. You will handle the full set of accounts, budgeting, and costing while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. You will prepare timely financial reports, oversee daily financial operations, and liaise with auditors and tax agents. Responsibilities:

• Financial Accounting and Reporting: Manage full set of accounts with timely and accurate reporting. Oversee daily financial operations, group financial statements, tax compliance, and month-end closing. Review reports with the General Manager, supervise the finance team, and liaise with auditors and statutory bodies.
• Cost Analysis and Management: Perform cost analysis to identify drivers and optimization opportunities. Develop costing models to support pricing, budgeting, and forecasting. Work with operations and procurement to control costs effectively.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Partner with department heads to develop budgets aligned with strategic goals and monitor performance for improvements.
• Process Improvement and Compliance: Drive continuous improvements in financial and costing processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Financial Strategy and Decision Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to management. Evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and business expansions, and support decisions with financial modelling and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English preferred
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, cost accounting, or related roles, with focus on full set accounting and costing
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and cost management methodologies
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., AutoCount)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis
