Jawatan Kosong ACCOUNTS AND ECONOMICS TEACHER IGCSE in Cyberjaya

Job Description

Abedeen Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Accounts & Economics Teacher with a focus on the IGCSE syllabus. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and supporting students in achieving academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Accounts and Economics based on the IGCSE syllabus to Secondary level students.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials aligned with IGCSE requirements.
• Design and mark assessments, tests, and examinations according to IGCSE standards.
• Monitor and track students’ academic progress and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Communicate effectively with parents and the academic team when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience teaching Accounts and/or Economics, preferably at Secondary or IGCSE level (practicum experience is acceptable).
• Good knowledge of the IGCSE curriculum and assessment framework is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Passionate about teaching and student development.
• Able to start work on 5 January 2026.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,250.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
