• The position supports the operational security of supply for the assigned regions, category and/or value threshold in the required quality, functionality and time, considering the stakeholders’ needs and competitive conditions.
• Coordinate the needs of the responsible region, category and/or value threshold with the supplier and / or internal stakeholders.
• Execution of tasks in operational purchasing by using appropriate tools and
  processes.
• Serve as back-office for Evonik Procurement Organization.
• Ensure purchase order processing, request for quotation and complaint management.
• Coordination of supplier selection, requirements and prices with responsible lead buyer or category manager.
• Provide adjusted/completed procurement process SOP where required.
• Ensuring compliance standards are held.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement/Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with Procurement, Supply Chain and/or technical position.
• Good speaking, writing and reading skills in English and Mandarin.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain a network, flexible and a positive attitude.
• Familiar with Office 365 environment.
• SAP S/4 ERP system and/or Ariba knowledge.
