Jawatan Kosong Marketing & Admission Executive in Klang

Job Purpose

The candidate will recruit students for Wesley Methodist School Klang (Private) (WMSKP), ensuring student enrolment targets are met. These individual handles marketing, admissions, and enrolment-related matters to ensure a seamless student customer journey. The individual will proactively follow up and convert student applications for the school.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides accurate information, advice, and guidance to prospective parents about the curriculum and student life at WMSKP.
• Handles inquiries gathered from marketing campaigns for conversion purposes.
• Counsels, contacts, and follow ups on inquiries and applications to recruit new students.
• Maintains up-to-date records of the student recruitment and admissions process.
• Attends and reports during enrolment tracker meetings to update on the progress of targets being set.
• Represents school at education fairs, roadshows, workshops, and other sales and marketing-related activities.
• Contributes to team efforts by working closely with principal, teachers, and the Methodist Council Of Education (MCOE)– the headquarter of all Wesley Methodist School.
• Collaborates with principal and the MCOE Marketing Unit in executing marketing initiatives such as banners, leaflets, posters, and design work for the website and social media presence.
• Maintain good relationships with students and parents to foster a supportive community and enhance the student customer journey.
• Stay updated with professional knowledge and industry-wide matters.
• Undertake projects and any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

Requirements

• Degree in Marketing, Counselling, Social Science, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least two years of working experience, preferably in an educational institution with involvement in counselling parents, marketing, and sales promotions.
• Ability to analyse and interpret the needs of parents and students and offer appropriate solutions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate comfortably with parents and students in a courteous and professional manner.
• Good planning, organising, coordinating, presentation, and time management skills.
• Creative, resourceful, customer-focused, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Strong proficiency in Mandarin and English (both verbal and written); the ability to communicate in Mandarin is a MUST.
• Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace Apps, Canva, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Knowledge in using social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiao Hong Shu.
• Previous experience in an educational institution with involvement in counselling, marketing, and sales promotions is advantageous.
