Jawatan Kosong Assistant Warehouse Manager in Subang Jaya

Job description:

What You’ll Do

• Support the setup, transformation, and optimization of warehouse operations with a commercial mindset
• Update Warehouse Management System (WMS) while maintaining understanding of traditional/manual processes
• Balance safety compliance with strategic space utilization (e.g., optimizing racking height vs. path width)
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff on efficient workflows and SOPs
• Coordinate closely with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics providers to align warehouse flow with business needs
• Drive integration with e-invoicing and digital stock control systems

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse and inventory operations (manual & digital)
• Prior work experience in Japanese companies preferred
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Cantonese-speaking is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of both warehouse logic and business trade-offs (e.g., operational safety vs. storage ROI)
• Capable of strategic decision-making aligned with business growth
• Proficient in WMS and e-invoicing platforms
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Physically fit, proactive, and adaptable in a high-pressure environment
• Able to work/travel in/to KL and Subang Jaya USJ1 warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth warehouse workflow
• Monitor stock receiving, storing, picking, and dispatch processes
• Optimize layout and racking plans based on business and operational needs
• Maintain inventory accuracy and enforce strict stock control measures
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire regulations, and warehouse housekeeping
• Collaborate with showroom, transport teams, suppliers, and sales departments
• Assist in delivery planning, space maximization, and product viewings coordination
