Assistant Admin Officer, USJ Taipan Subang Jaya

Job Description:

1) Student Enrolment & Retention

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student enrollment and retention rates.
  • Manage the enrollment process by addressing prospective parents’ inquiries and overseeing application, registration, and payment procedures.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to feedback, inquiries, and complaints from students and parents.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with parents through effective communication strategies.
  • Manage Whatsapp enquiries, phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.).

2) Daily Operations

  • To maintain and upkeep a good filing systems and documentations.
  • Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts administration tasks.
  • Oversee and monitor the attendance, performance and punctuality of all teachers and administrative stuff.
  • Ensure that facilities are clean, safe and well-maintained.
  • Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operation Director.
  • Teach classes and serve as a backup teacher in the event of staff absences.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a diploma or degree in a relevant field.
  • Candidates with prior experience in early childhood education is an added advantage.
  • Candidates with prior experience in early childhood education is an added advantage.
  • Candidates with IT proficiency will be given priority in the selection process.
  • Candidates who can speak and read Mandarin will be given priority in the selection process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications - Excel/Words/ PowerPoint.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised and able to multi-task.

Skills:

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role.
  • Communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiar and knowledge in using Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Job Type:

Full-time

Working hours: (5.5 days work)

  • Off on Monday
  • Wednesday (6pm - 9:30pm)
  • Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (2:30pm - 9:30pm)
  • Saturday and Sunday (9:00am - 6:30pm)

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Able to commute to USJ Taipan
  • Nearest public transport is Taipan LRT station (walking distance)

Language:

  • English, Bahasa Melayu
  • Ability to read and speak in Chinese is an advantage

Salary:

RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
