About the Role

Responsible for creating and designing electrical systems, including wiring and power distribution schematics incorporated into the specific requirements of each project. Ensure Engaging discussions with suppliers and customers for specifications of the control system while maintaining electrical safety.

What You Need to Be Successful

Responsibilities

• Design the schematic diagram for the control of automated machines.
• Design, develop, modify, and specify the control systems.
• PLC programming and debugging.
• Integration of third parties’ equipment into the machines.
• Liaise with suppliers for components to be integrated into the system.
• Liaise with customers for all specifications of the control system.
• Coordinate and manage manpower for the wiring of machine.
• Test run and debug the machines.
• Set up machines on site and carry out commissioning process.
• Produce and release all documentation, instruction manuals and service manuals.
• Hands-on involvement will be needed during the setup stage.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Automation Field.
• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and control circuits is a must. Other knowledge of PC programming, various robot programming, vision systems, HMI software etc. will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Windows and Office is a must. Knowledge of Eplan will be an advantage
• Have experience in controls documentation and configuration/change management
• Experience in project management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO quality systems and CE marking.
• Have a desire to operate in an environment of continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English, speaking and writing.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas.
• Possess own transport.
• Creative and possess good communication skills.
