Jawatan Kosong Senior Mechanical Engineer in Petaling Jaya

Our client is a an established company with Electrical & Mechanical Consultancy Practice based in Malaysia engaged in M&E Design Consultancy Works for Building Services Industry.

Job Title : Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities :

1. To perform design, coordination and implementation of Mechanical/Electrical services

2. Responsible to coordinate Project planning, site survey, preliminary design and cost estimation. 3. Detail designing and calculation for all Mechanical/Electrical services required.

4. Preparation of bill of quantities, contract document and site evaluation report.

5. Conduct/Attend relevant Authority/Consultant- Client and Certification Body coordination meetings.

6. Coordination of works between sub-contractor & monitoring progress to meet schedule in accordance with work program & specs.

7. Carry out inspection on all works done by contractors in accordance to standards, specifications and consultants drawing.

8. Check all compile and provide all the required documentations, i.e catalogues, method statements, layout details, design drawings, Operational & Manual (O & M) and As-Built drawings for relevant parties, also hand-on themselves

9. Inspect and identify potential defects with regards to M&E installations and recommend repair methods.

10. Report and assist to resolve any dispute, technical queries, emergency incidents with reference to the consultants, Senior Manager/Director.

Requirements:

1. Relevant Degree in Mechanical Engineering

2. Minimum 5 years working experience as M&E Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical services for Building Industry

3. Strong leadership, able to work independently and self-motivated.

4. A team player and able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

5. Strong technical knowledge to liaise with clients, consultants and authorities.

6. Able to travel within Malaysia (Depends on project)

7. Adequate/Advance computer skills in Microsoft, Computer-aided design (CAD).

8. Physically Fit : Ability to work in industrial setting (site inspection) which includes walking, climbing, bending, and wearing appropriate safety gear

Added Advantage:

1. Registered with BEM, IEM

2. Professional Engineer (PE) license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Mechanical engineering: 5 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
