Jawatan Kosong Director, Systems Engineer in Subang Jaya

We are seeking a Director, System Engineer to lead our APAC Infrastructure System Engineering team. This role involves directing strategy and being responsible for all execution aspects. The director will supervise SE managers and teams and serve as the primary technical interface for key enterprise campus and data center customers in APAC.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

• Owning the strategy and overseeing the execution for the regional APAC Infrastructure System Engineering (INF SE) technical team.
• Recruiting, managing, and developing employees, including decisions on hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, and other changes in employee status.
• Setting, managing, and approving budgets and expenses for the regional SE team, including business travel, capital, and operational expenditures.
• Working with regional sales and marketing leaders to align SE support with business needs to deliver a valuable customer experience. Mapping CommScope field technical engineers to accounts and opportunities, defining support expectations and action plans and traveling to customer facilities as needed for additional technical expertise. Actively participating in strategic key accounts planning to align pre-sales technical support and define tactical actions to achieve business goals.
• Providing feedback to product engineering on regional market trends and needs, resulting in design features that improve the marketability of CommScope’s products. Acting as a liaison between regional/global customers and manufacturing/engineering, coordinating communication and follow-up on customer technical requests.
• Supporting new product rollouts with external presentations focused on technical differentiation and value proposition.
• Crafting, improving, and delivering solutions presentations for end-user customers and consultants to boost sales of CommScope’s products. Contribute new material to the larger technical community.
• Supporting sales and marketing with media activities, including writing articles for publications, assisting with advertising, and preparing technical documentation.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Preferably with a Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer or or appropriate field with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Managerial experience required, preferably 5 years minimum. Must be able to lead, develop, motivate, and mentor talent.
• Knowledgeable of local structured cabling standards, building, electrical, and data-communication codes and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of current Data Center technologies and industry trends for Enterprise Data Centers, Multi-tenant Data Centers, and AI clusters
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN systems and physical media requirements, including wireless applications
• Domain expert in many Cabling Solutions and product ranges across assigned CommScope Concentration(s)
• Ability to influence, train, and mentor channel partners and system integration partners
• Deal closing skills to assist sales Influence business outcomes through product expertise combined with strategic thinking in the commercial landscape and building relationships with high-level customer decision-makers.
• Ability to create and deliver sales and training presentations with confidence and customer-facing skill.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Preferably with minimum of 10 years structured cabling system design experience, with recent experience in design of pathways and infrastructure for Data Centers
• Possess current industry technical certification (preferred) (such as BICSI RCDD, BICSI DCDC, BICSI OSP)
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain relationships in a culturally diverse environment.
