JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal
candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children, creating a positive and
engaging learning environment, and fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive
development of preschool-aged students. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for
planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, assessing children's
progress, and maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom setting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Curriculum Planning:
● Develop and implement a creative and age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with
early childhood education standards.
● Plan and organize daily activities that promote learning, socialization, and individual
development.
Classroom Management:
● Create a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom environment conducive to
learning.
● Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive social interactions among
students.
Instruction and Engagement:
● Facilitate learning through play, structured activities, and hands-on experiences.
● Encourage active participation and engagement in class activities.
Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
● Conduct ongoing assessments of students' development and progress.
● Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's achievements and areas
for improvement.
Individualized Support:
● Identify and address the unique needs and learning styles of individual students.
● Provide additional support or challenges as needed to ensure each child's success.
Parent Communication:
● Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents through regular
meetings, newsletters, and conferences.
● Address parent inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Collaboration:
● Work collaboratively with other preschool staff to create a cohesive and supportive
teaching team.
● Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and
stay current with best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
● Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
● Relevant teaching certification or licensure as required by local regulations.
● Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
● Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
● Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
