Are you a skilled inspector with a passion for excellence in the oil and gas industry?

Pioneer Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and experienced API 510 Pressure

Vessel Inspector to join our dynamic team at our Pengerang, Johor office. If you thrive in

Position: API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector

Reports to: Project Manager

Location: Pengerang, Johor

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive analysis, design, and inspection of onshore and offshore

pressure vessels.

• Conduct independent assessments of vessel conditions at onshore plants and

offshore platforms.

• Ensure compliance with international standards and codes such as ASME, AWS, API,

ASTM, SSPC, BGAS, and NACE, along with local statutory regulations.

• Develop and review inspection procedures for vendors, sub-vendors, and contractors.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Fitness for Service (FFS) evaluations.

• Excel in technical report writing and presentations, showcasing your ability to work

with a high degree of initiative.

• Communicate effectively in both Malay and English, with strong written and verbal

skills.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Engineering or Science.

• Valid API 510 certification with at least three (3) years of relevant experience for SPM

holders and one (1) year for Diploma holders, including experience in oil and gas

inspection and engineering.

• ASNT/PCN Level II certification or equivalent is a plus.
