Jawatan Kosong Part - Time English / Chinese Online Teacher REMOTE in Kuala Lumpur

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.

Experience: Previous teaching experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Skills:

• Proficient in using Google Workspace and Zoom for online teaching.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Proficient in English is a must
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and engaging online learning environment.
• Enjoys working with primary and secondary students.
• Will be a bonus if you are familiar with the PSLE and O level syllabus
• Must be able to commit to end of Academic year

Main responsibilities

Online Teaching:

• Conduct engaging and interactive online lessons using Google Workspace and Zoom.
• Teach English and Chinese to primary and secondary students, following the Singapore syllabus.

Homework Guidance:

• Provide guidance and support to students on their homework assignments.
• Assist students in understanding and completing their homework effectively.

Student Interaction:

• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Engage with students to enhance their learning experience and build their confidence.

Curriculum Familiarity:

• Be well-versed in the Singapore primary and secondary school syllabus.
• (Bonus) Familiarity with the PSLE and O-level syllabus is highly desirable.

Weekend Availability:

• Must be available to work on weekends to accommodate students' schedules.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: RM10.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week

Education:

• Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Remote access software: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)
• Chinese (Preferred)

Expected Start Date: 06/01/2024
