We’re on the hunt for a dependable and results-driven Assistant Branch Manager to help lead and grow our freight forwarding operations in Tawau. You'll work closely with the Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, support the team, drive service excellence, and keep things moving—literally.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the branch office (both import & export activities)
• Support and supervise staff—ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
• Coordinate with customs, port authorities, transporters and agents to ensure smooth cargo flow
• Monitor and manage shipment timelines, documentation and compliance with all regulations
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and resolve any service issues
• Oversee billing, costing and profitability of shipments
• Assist with budgeting, resource planning and performance tracking

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Admin or related field
• Experience: 3–5 years in freight forwarding or logistics, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations (sea & air freight, customs clearance, transport)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and reporting tools
• Strong problem-solving, people management, and multitasking skills
• High level of integrity, responsibility and decision-making ability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend jobs
