Jawatan Kosong Shovel Driver in Kota Tinggi

Job Summary

The Shovel Driver is responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, hydraulic shovels, or backhoes to load, move, and excavate materials safely and efficiently. This role supports daily site operations while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators/shovels to dig, load, lift, move, and level soil, rock, debris, or other materials
• Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, and material handling according to work plans
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance (fueling, lubrication, cleaning)
• Monitor machine performance and report faults, damages, or safety concerns immediately
• Follow site safety regulations, traffic management rules, and standard operating procedures
• Coordinate with site supervisors, truck drivers, and ground workers for smooth operations
• Ensure work is completed within assigned timelines and productivity targets
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and daily activities
• Keep work area clean and organized to prevent accidents

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience operating excavators or hydraulic shovels
• Valid heavy machinery/operator license
• Familiarity with construction, quarry, mining, or industrial site operations
• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety inspections
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to work long hours, shifts, or outdoors
• Willingness to follow safety rules and company policies
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
