Jawatan Kosong PLANT HSE MANAGER in Labuan

1. Strategic Planning & Policy Development

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE Policies, systems and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Establish long-term safety and environmental objectives aligned with SOI's goals.
• Ensure HSE strategies are integrated into business operations.

2. Regulatory Compliances

• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with government authorities and certification bodies on compliance matters.
• Prepare and submit required HSE reports and documentation to regulators.

3. Risk Assessment and Management

• Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard identification and job safety analysis.
• Develop and implement risk control measures to minimize workplace incidents.
• Established emergency response and business continuity plan.

4. Workplace Safety and Health

• Monitor workplace activities to ensure safe practises.
• Oversee the implementation of occupational health programs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend corrective and preventive actions.

5. Environmental Management

• Manage environmental protection initiatives (waste management, emissions control, energy efficiency, sustainability).
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and standards.
• Promote initiatives to reduce SOI's carbon footprint.

6. Training & Awareness

• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
• Conduct regular safety drills, toolbox talks and awareness campaign.

7. Monitor & Reporting

• Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections and performance reviews.
• Maintain HSE records, statistic and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Present HSE performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.

8. Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and supervise HSE officers, coordinators and site safety staff.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and continuous development for the HSE team.
• Work closely with Operations, HRA, Engineering (Inc. Facility Management) to embed HSE practises.

9. Continuous Improvement

• Benchmark HSE performance against industry best practices.
• Recommend and implement new technologies or systems to improve HSE effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incidents and environmental impacts.
