QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma on Mechanical Engineering.
• Have a computer skills and working experience of Microsoft Office.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 1-3 year's experience as Mechanic.

SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES / COMPETENCIES

• Ability of trouble shooting skill.
• Able to work offshore and fit.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Mechanic Slickline is responsible for operating and maintaining slickline equipment used in well interventions and completions. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the equipment is in optimal working condition to support efficient and safe operations in the field.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate slickline units and associated equipment according to standard procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure proper setup and calibration of slickline tools for well intervention tasks.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on slickline equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of the machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulic systems, engines, and other components.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all equipment meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Travel to well sites and support slickline operations as required, including setup, operation, and teardown of equipment.
• Collaborate with field personnel and other technicians to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and operational data.
• Prepare and submit reports on equipment status, incidents, and job completions.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and techniques related to slickline operations and equipment.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Pay: RM2,250.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
