As the Quality Intern , you will perform assigned tasks and shadow senior colleagues within the Quality department to gain knowledge and experience in a specific area, according to the learning plan and company needs. You will report to the Quality/Production Manager while being based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:

• Assist senior colleagues with daily tasks, including raw material to finished goods inspection, to build knowledge of organizational processes.
• Participate in Food Safety, Quality, Safety & Health, and Continuous Improvement programs.
• Perform assigned tasks according to instructions, seeking clarification when needed.
• Actively suggest solutions and offer help when required.
• Observe experienced colleagues to learn departmental methods, procedures, and standards.
• Gain exposure to FSQ programs such as Food Safety, HACCP, auditing, lab instrumentation, pre-requisite programs, product inspection, supplier and external manufacturing, and related project work.

Your professional profile includes:

• Bachelor's degree / University student with a background in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotech, or a similar field in Sciences.
• Additional work experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong eagerness to learn with a curious mindset, unafraid to ask questions.
• Digital savvy with strong computer literacy skills.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Able to work in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
