Objectives of the Position

• Able to conduct routine analysis as assigned by Supervisor (Laboratory) according to work instructions, in safe manner and in accordance to ISO related system subscribed by the company

Main Tasks

• Trained Operators are required to perform the necessary Quality Control in the laboratory to provide running data for finished products and in-process Quality Control.
• Ensure all environmental, health and safety rules and guidelines are being adhered to and maintain high safety standards and a safe working environment. Reports deviations if there is any abnormality found to the equipment.
• Carry out good daily housekeeping and proper waste disposal in the laboratory.
• Perform any special projects when requested by the Lab Supervisors or Foreman.
• Ensure that all activities performed are done in a safe manner and report all safety incidents to help maintain a safe workplace.
• To highlight any quality issues if found to the Foreman or Supervisor.
• To highlight any equipment abnormality if found to the Foreman or Supervisor.
• To support the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, 5S and Process Safety Management by practicing them accordingly to ensure full compliance with the requirements as stipulated in the system.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any Science background
• Preferably 1-2 years related experience
• Technical & Professional Knowledge: - ISO 9001 and Occupational Safety knowledge.
• Able to read, write, listen for English and Bahasa Melayu language.
