Guest Services Assistant

Location: Lone Pine Hotel, Batu Ferringhi, Penang

Department: Front Office

Employment Type: Full-Time (Shift-based, includes weekends & public holidays)

What You’ll Do:

Join our Front Office team as the face of Lone Pine Hotel. You'll be responsible for delivering warm, seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure. This includes:

- Greeting guests, managing check-ins/check-outs, and assigning rooms

- Handling bookings, cancellations, and guest updates through our property system

- Assisting with guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person

- Processing payments, deposits, and balancing daily transactions

- Coordinating with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B to meet guest needs

- Addressing feedback with professionalism and escalating when necessary

- Keeping the lobby presentable and in line with our brand standards

- Preparing shift handovers and basic operational reports

Who We’re Looking For:

- SPM, Diploma, or Degree in Hospitality or a related field

- Experience in hotel front office or customer service is preferred (fresh grads encouraged to apply)

- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages are a plus

- Comfortable with hotel systems (Opera/Fidelio) or willing to learn

- Friendly, reliable, and able to work rotating shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Up to RM1,900.00 per month
