About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead and optimize production operations with a strong focus on CNC machining and special processes such as electropolishing (EP), passivation, and anodization. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing activities to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety regulations are met consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plant operations with emphasis on CNC machining and special processes.
• Ensure production output meets quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Oversee scheduling and prioritization of work orders.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to monitor and improve process control.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S.
• Improve workflows, equipment utilization, and throughput efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor manufacturing supervisors, engineers, and technicians.
• Foster a high-performance culture of accountability and results.
• Track and report KPIs including yield, scrap, cycle time, and downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in management.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining and metal-based special processes.
• Strong knowledge of process validation, FMEA, and SPC.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to coach and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Preferred Industry Background

• Semiconductor, precision engineering, or metal-based manufacturing (especially stainless steel).
• Not suitable for candidates from foam, plastic, ceramic, rubber, glove, or packaging industries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM18,000.00 per month
