About the role

• This role will be responsible for the logistical freight invoices (export) execution and operation coordination of all Cocoa APAC shipments.

Key responsibilities include

• To manage, check and validate the freight invoices for all BC sites are captured in the SAP system.
• Accurate checking before validation and approval (to align with incoterm rules, shipping terms and company contract agreement.
• To manage Logistics vendor ‘Master Data’ and Purchase order creation in the SAP system.
• To manage freight rate negotiation with Logistics agents and contracts.
• To tabulate and provide monthly and annual budget reviews, freight reports and accruals.
• Communicate with Logistics agents (contract and spot) on monthly SOA and invoice received.
• Closely communicate with Logistics agents to ensure dispute/ rejected invoices are entertained and corrected on time.
• To organize meeting calls with Logistics agents on invoicing and operations execution matters.
• To participate in the Logistics Contract Awarding sessions for both Intra Asia and long-haul (when required).
• To support and back up the Regional Freight Executive on logistics matters.
• To review the non-performance of the Logistics agent
• Read and feedback on emails on time.

About you

• Diploma/Bachelor degree in Logistics/ Business/ Supply Chain Management
• At least 5 years of relevant logistics (import/export, shipping) working experience
• English & Malay communication skills
• Experience managing logistics in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a food-related industry is an advantage
• Knowledge in logistics movements (road, sea and air), incoterms and shipping documents/letters of Credit
• Hands-on Excel, word and PowerPoint knowledge
• Familiar with SAP modules ‘Sales Distribution’ and ‘Master Data’ will be an advantage
• Strong communication skills, capable of analyzing large data sets
• Has the ability to work independently with a sense of business acumen capable of presenting logical and well-structured proposals
• Approachable & Proactive cooperation mindset
• Customer service oriented with a positive service mindset
• Energetic, enthusiastic and have the capacity to apply extra effort when the occasions demand for
